President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Shuaib Yoosuf as a member of the Employment Tribunal.
The appointment was formalised during a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Thursday morning.
Shuaib took the oath of office before Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed Hussain, after which President Muizzu handed him his official appointment letter.
Shuaib previously held several positions at the Elections Commission, including Director General. He resigned from the commission in 2016.
The Employment Tribunal consists of eight members, including its President and Vice President.
Former Chief Judicial Administrator Amjad Musthafa was appointed President of the Tribunal last month, while former Economic Ministry Deputy Minister Ahmed Mamdooh was appointed Vice President earlier this month.
