Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched a new campaign offering customers the chance to win MVR 10,000 when sending money overseas through its FaisaRemit service.
The FaisaRemit Home Campaign 2026 will run until November 22 and covers remittances sent to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and the Philippines.
At the end of the campaign, MIB will conduct a lucky draw and select one winner for each destination. A total of five winners will each receive MVR 10,000.
Customers do not need to register separately or pay any additional fees to participate. Any eligible transfer made through FaisaRemit from an active MIB MVR account to one of the five countries during the campaign period will automatically qualify for the draw.
Customers who send money to multiple eligible countries can participate in more than one draw. However, each customer can win only one prize throughout the campaign.
MIB said the winners will be selected after the campaign concludes and contacted using the details registered with the bank.
