Maldivian has introduced a special promotional fare for travel to Bangkok, timed to coincide with the upcoming July holiday period.
According to the airline, the promotional fares will be available for a limited period from 12 July to 2 August. Round-trip ticket prices will start from an introductory rate of USD 399, which includes a 25-kilogram baggage allowance.
Flights under this promotion will operate once a week, every Sunday. Departures from Malé are scheduled at 11:00 a.m., while return flights from Bangkok will depart at 6:40 p.m.
The airline has opened bookings for these seasonal services, allowing customers to secure tickets in advance.
This initiative aligns with Maldivian’s ongoing strategy of introducing additional international routes during peak travel seasons. Earlier this year, the airline operated similar seasonal flights to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
These services recorded strong demand, with more than 2,120 passengers travelling on the Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok routes during the January holiday period.
Maldivian stated that it regularly increases both domestic and international flight frequencies during school holidays and peak travel periods to accommodate rising passenger demand safely and efficiently.
